Apple services could be offered in 'Apple One' bundle this October

Meh. I mean but sling is great. It’s the way things are moving. 

It’s just that Apple really should have been ahead of the game here. Services And pricing structures have been fragmented for a while now. 

At least they will do something. Better late than never. 

The whole “one” nomenclature is played out though. Hope they change that.

I think the bundling was designed to show more subscribers for services that have issues with content providers like News and Arcade. Plus that free year of Apple TV+ is coming to an end soon with early subscribers, and with the pandemic, I don’t see a lot of people keeping it and paying for it unless it’s bundled with something else they use.  If they can claim more subscribers, it’s possible to secure more content that people would watch, than gamble with original series that have good, but not good enough audience members.

Honestly, I do like the "Bundle Idea", and hope that it would include "yearly options", in addition to the monthly options.  Maybe they could even "introduce" yearly options, with a "family sharing" plan.  I would definitely be interested in a bundle of AppleTV, plus Apple Music, with family sharing, in a yearly bundle, instead of needing to pay month-to-month.
