    good job guys...still used to the old layout, so when i want to go back up to AI main page from FutureHardware or something i still go to the right of the page when i need to start going to the left...but i'll get used to it

    ...will vB be able to eventually show what the last posted topic was on the mainpage like UBB did?

    Yes, vB is very nice and stuff but one thing is bugging me at the mo, the large input field is too large for my 15" display (have to scroll across a lot).

    Any way of changing this?

    I've got a bug, but I can't post a picture of it because I'm viewing it at work on a PC.



    Everytime an AI page loads in IE on Windows 2000 I see a runtime error "Object Expected Line 66".



    It asks me if I want to debug and I just say no and it goes away. I get the message because I have all the Windows Dev Tools installed. It looks like its just a JavaScript error.

    I'm not going to do that. I've had my share of bad experiences. You know ... (pun intended, but no 'bad' one..just being nice)

    I was a Senior Member for about 5 minutes this morning, then I tweaked my profile and now I'm back to Member again....ahhh, the fleeting fickleness of fame.

    vB handles the "special" characters fine. Safari, though, often craps out on them in forms like this.

    im surprised you posted that many smilies in SA way back when...



    I liked SA because I could mess around with the forums w/o bothering people who are actually looking for content... I would like to have a forum like that to do the same thing, if only temporarily...even if the posts got deleted... I don't care... I just want to test the limits of vB and see what it can do...

    I'm missing about 1200 posts. Wonder what that says about how frequently I posted in Fireside Chat? I've only been registered under this name since late July too. (not even including two months of infrequent posting in february and oct-nov).

    I can't change the text under my name, regardless of which browser I use. Every browser gives some sort of weird error on the top two lines and then the "We are redirecting you to your main User CP page" in the middle, except Safari, which doesn't give the error but still doesn't change it.
