The Pro Display XDR Calibrator tool, which is available from the company's support website, allows users to measure the calibration of their displays, fine-tune the calibration, and perform in-field recalibration, depending on their needs or specific workflows.
Additionally, Apple also issued a support document that offers step-by-step guidance for the tool. That includes fine-tuning a calibration to a specific target, or recalibrating the display to a third-party spectroradiometer.
The new calibration features require macOS Catalina 10.15.6 and the latest firmware update, Display Firmware 4.2.30.
