The film chronicles Eilish's life and exploding career, including intimate behind-the-scenes footage. The documentary shows the now-18-year-old sensation as she tours and records her debut studio album, "When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?" The 2019 album went on to win three Grammys, including Album of the Year. Apple initially announced the documentary in September.

The trailer depicts the critically and commercially acclaimed artist at work and play. In addition to performances and recording sessions, the trailer also shows more intimate moments like celebrating passing her driver's-license exam, confessing that she fears monsters in her room, and plenty of teasing and philosophizing with her family. It also features her older brother, Finneas O'Connell, who produced the album.

The film is from Apple Original Films, in association with Interscope Films, The Darkroom, This Machine, and Lighthouse Management & Media. Award-winning filmmaker R.J. Cutler directs it. It debuts in both theaters and on Apple TV+ on February 26.

We first caught word of the Billie Eilish film and Apple's involvement in December 2019, when the company reportedly signed a deal for the film's exclusive rights for approximately $25 million.

The documentary is the latest collaboration between Eilish and Apple, including winning at the first Apple Music Awards and taking part in a live stream from the Steve Jobs Theater for Apple Music. She has also played a part in "Today at Apple" Music Lab sessions.

Ok boomers! What's up with you haters? Is someone forcing you to watch it? Do you feel your constitutional rights are being violated?

No, we just choose not to spend our time watching some one who hasn’t lived life yet, look so miserable because someone told them to, in order to sell copies of a song.

And you’re basing this on what? The trailer or something substantial?

I’d like to see this to learn more about her and her music.
