Plus blaming DJI for something they really have no choice in, to me is silly,
They can start by jettisoning their "... abusive genetic analysis and high technology surveillance..." (assuming the accusations are true).
Again, would they do that if they had a "choice"? Maybe, then again, how much of what you hear really true or propaganda. There is little doubt perhaps that China's population is well monitored, that appears to be done by cell phones if again, reports are real.. Whether there is constant drone surveillance is something else that I don't think we can be real sure of.. perhaps thats happening too....
The CCP is doing far more than that here in the US... Their tactics are being exposed. It’s shocking what they’ve done here, all while we sit on our lazy bums and think they’re not a threat. They’re literally tying to dismantle the US, from outside and within, and are succeeding, in order to become the world’s power.
And the flow of Chinese government money into domestic terror groups Antifa and BLM are just part of their attacks on the US.

    Y E H !
And China was behind the massive Russian hack of 18,000 government agencies, departments and corporations!

It must be true!   The Chief China Hater (aka Putin's Puppet) told us so!
...  And, of course the China Haters will believe their leader -- and make even bigger fools of themselves than before....

    SIgh....
It's just amazing what propaganda can do to weak minds.   So sad....

Even though this is the second known, documented serious attack on our country by the same Russian Oligarch that has severely weakened the nation, Let's Keep Hating on China!   Keep the smear campaign going!   Keep the fact free allegations flowing!
Exactly!  Why is government policy being made on the basis of fear and paranoia, rather than facts and experience? Yes, hold China's feet to the fire, but don't throw them in!  And yes, Russia massively pwned us, and we chase toy helicopters.

Trump is blaming China for the Russian attack on the U.S.while discussing imposing martial law and sending the military into Democratic states in order to redo the election Trump lost.

So, I just checked his main propaganda outlet, the FoxNews website:   What  I saw was multiple stories attacking China with all the standard China-Hate buzz words to trigger and distract the foolish and gullible base ("Slave Labor", "Oppressed Ulghurs", "Corona Virus", "Covid", "spying", "global aggression" -- even "pollution") but not a word about the massive and highly successful Russian attack on the United States that severely compromised the security of this country.   Not a word.   Utter silence.   Instead it's:   "LOOK OVER THERE!" -- and, of course, they do.   Every time.

It's hard to believe people would swallow that bait.   But many tens of millions swallow the propaganda on a daily basis.  The result is that they are so filled with fear and hate they will swallow anything their cult leaders feed them and then regurgitate it back out as Gospel Truth.

What an odd country. Conducting state surveillance on its own citizens whilst knocking other countries for doing the same thing.

Amazing how the China Haters crawl out from under their rocks at the mere mention of the country.  You would almost think they had a string that got pulled.

Meanwhile, while the instigator and leader of China-Haters-Incorporated successfully kept their eyes and attention laser focused on China, his buddy and partner over in Russia gained control of 18,000 U.S. computer systems -- including Defense, Treasury, Commerce and even those of our nuclear arsenal.   At minimum they monitored communications and stole information.   But we have no way of knowing what they did with their control of those systems and how deep their roots are into those systems or how far it spread..

Such fools.....   So easily distracted...   So easily led by the nose...   "Hey!  Don't Look at my Friend and Partner, Look over there!"
Not only that but the Trump administration should also be sanctioned for violating human rights at the southern border. Funny how hypocrisy works huh?

The Russian interference in 2016 elections and the recently revealed Russian cyber attack are real things, the current president’s obsequious deflections notwithstanding. It is real and dangerous.

It would be a mistake, however, to take that fact to somehow mean that China is an innocuous or harmless actor. The 2015 Chinese breach of the Federal Office of Personnel Management is well documented and compromised the personal data 4 million people.

This is not a zero-sum situation. Both countries are a considerable risk to US cyber (and other) infrastructure.

Ridiculous nonsense. Immigration law violators have no right to be in the US. And those much criticized “cages”? Created by the previous President and his administration.

True.... Many countries are involved in espionage.   But that is not the same as how Russia has launched repeated serious attacks on our democracy and our country - including this latest one where they not only stole information but gained control of numerous vital system.   They gained so much control that there is now no way to tell how far it metastasized and how many persistent back doors they installed -- so even if we purge the code from this hack they can re-establish themselves in these vital systems.   Some have suggested that the U.S. response must be so severe that Russia would never dare to take this or any other cyber-attack any further -- sort of nuclear Armageddon in cyber worldl

But, the point of the post you were responding to stands:   When Russia does something Trump and his shills point the finger at China.   It's pure distraction that the fools buy every time.

Civilian drone technology is one thing that DJI/China do better than the rest of the world and by large margin. And they are not copying from other, they are leading.

I don’t see any meaningful drone companies from the rest of the world in this field. The other top 2 also from China, sadly. But again the market is just not that big for big tech to join in. Even other companies joined, the mass production will likely in China anyway.

The one thing that makes me hesitate to buy a DJI drone is they always send data home. I don’t know why and I don’t see the need. And I don’t trust CCP a single bit.

Yes, so it only seems fair that a US company reverse engineers their products and makes them cheaper here.
