    LOL...
So, because you don't know the history (or, more likely, choose to ignore it) means that history doesn't exist?   OK.....   That's typical.

And then you move immediately to:   "But China!"  (Which has apparently replaced "But the emails!"  because that dog whistle became so worn out and boring).
Yeah, everyone in this world would have read and have the same knowledge/understanding as George knows about the world history, right? Has it EVER occurred to you that the person whom you are arguing with does NOT have the knowledge/information that you know of already and the only way to make the other person understand your point is by sharing information to read about??? I have NEVER seen you sharing links/information to support your arguments as if everyone in the world should be aware of it and if not, they are ignorant/trumpian/Chinese hater in your book. That approach does NOT help anyone in terms of having a conversation in an internet forum.

I teach my 14 year old grandson struggling through cyberschool.  But, it's not my job to educate you.  It's your job to know what you're talking about when you post something.

Well, the other person whom you are referring to is myself. Let me clarify - I have NOT even commented on this riot episode, since I haven't read enough information about it and detailed in-depth information related to this Incident is just NOT available in mainstream media for whatever reasons.

The part where myself and Sree take offense to is related to your posts about Caste system in India and the misinformation around it. Btw, I am from India and I presume Sree as well. You are just NOT well informed on this topic. Instead of repeating your presumptions about this repeatedly in multiple threads, it would be better if you come to India and spend few months to understand the reality. i am NOT saying that it is NOT an issue. The issue is there. But the extent of the issue is NOT as much as you exaggerate it to be.

In case you are wondering if I am from upper caste and a beneficiary of this by inflicting trouble on others, NO, I am NOT from upper caste. And I have NEVER been a victim/at the receiving end of ANY caste related issue for 40+ years, which is why I get irritated when you keep mentioning it as an issue in almost each and every thread. And again, caste has NOTHING to do with this Incident.
First of all since you did not get the hint, I will state to you in plain language that I lived in India and I have personally witnessed the informal but not legal caste system. Considering yourself fortunate that you did not see it first hand as I did, especially me being an outsider.  I know everyone has different life experiences.

From my experience and from how those workers were treated like dirt, I believe it was related to the informal caste systems that does still exist in India as in other parts of the world including the U.S. The workers knew that by acting out and causing damage their grievances would be heard and address by outside entities thus negating the privileges of above them.
