Google brings new editing features to Google Photos on iOS

The new video editor allows users to crop, change perspective, and add filters to photos. Users will also be able to apply granular edits, including brightness, contrast, saturation, and warmth.

In the press release, Google notes that it plans on rolling out new enhanced photo editing features to iOS devices in the coming month.

Pixel owners who purchase a Google One membership will be getting a new set of enhanced photo editing features, including advanced modes for Portrait Blur, Portrait Light, and several others.

The new features may be part of Google's shift to provide users with a higher quality experience and existing plans to further develop Google Photos.

Google will be ending unlimited photo storage in Google Photos on June 1, 2021. Any photos uploaded afterward will count toward the 15GB limit that comes free, or any additional storage purchased via Google One.

side thought: there’s something listless about google’s brand identity. They’ve become so wedded to those four colours long aped from microsoft, that everything they produce looks like a children’s paper cut out project
