The new OWC cable adds TB4 support and 8K video. Otherwise they seem to be matching.
That's the point about the OWC (and any TB 4 certified cable) - It does it all, and you don't have to look at specs. If it's TB4 certified (it will be labeled that way), then it will "just work" for all the standards that the USB-C type port might provide.
