After being announced at the all-digital CES 2021, Arlo is now opening orders for its Essential Indoor camera. This budget-friendly camera captures clear 1080P video with support for night vision. There is two-way audio to communicate with visitors and a built-in siren to ward off intruders.
The camera has a 130-degree field of view and a motion detector to trigger alerts. Arlo bundles a free three-month trial of its Arlo Smart subscription which adds 30 days of video storage and more advanced notification settings.
At launch, the Arlo Essential Indoor camera doesn't support Apple's HomeKit platform though many other cameras in Arlo's lineup do.
