Anker adds Power Station Powerhouse II 300 to portable Power Station lineup
Designed to charge devices under 300W, the new pint-sized Powerhouse II 300 can keep all your favorite tech devices charged up when you don't have access to on-grid power.
The new Powerhouse II 300 features a 288W battery, designed to run many small appliances, such as mini-fridges and heaters, to tech gadgets like laptops and smartphones.
An easy-to-read LED panel shows the remaining battery capacity, current input and output status, and estimated recharge time. It also features two built-in lights-- a LED flashlight with low, full, and SOS modes and an ambient light with three light levels, ideal for camping.
Anker claims that the Powerhouse II 300 can charge a 2020 MacBook Air three to four times, an iPad Air seven times, or a digital camera up to 16 times. It can also power a fan for seven hours, a router for 22 hours, or a CPAP machine for five hours.
It includes one AC outlet, a 60W USB-C outlet, and three USB-A outlets. It features a car socket and two DC ports as well.
To recharge the Powerhouse II 300, it will take 3.3 hours via USB-C if connected directly to the wall outlet, 5.2 hours if connected to a car socket, 5.2 hours if connected to a wall outlet, and 5.9 hours if connected to USB-C power. This model can also be connected to a solar panel, which Anker says should take 6 hours if placed in direct sunlight -- but the solar panel isn't included.
The company notes that the Powerhouse II 300 is only for devices under 300W, meaning that it will not power microwaves, hairdryers, toasters, air compressors, hot plates, or electric cars.
