Hands on with Ikea's picture frame speaker, smart kitchens, & more on HomeKit Insider
On this week's episode of HomeKit Insider, your hosts discuss the Meross debut a new HomeKit floor lamp, Aqara products on Amazon in the EU and UK, Andrew's impressions of the Symfonisk picture frame speaker, home theater in-wall speakers, and HomeKit kitchen faucets.
Smart home accessory maker Meross introduced its latest accessory this past week, a new HomeKit-enabled floor lamp. This floor lamp has a modern design but lacks some features such as Adaptive Lighting.
Andrew also got his hands on the new Ikea Symfonisk Picture Frame Speaker that was a collaboration with Sonos and includes support for AirPlay 2 as well as HomeKit support. This unique speaker is a large rectangular frame that can be mounted on your wall.
The episode finishes up with a discussion on smart kitchens and HomeKit-enabled faucets, such as those from Koehler and Moen.
