The rumored larger display for the Apple Watch Series 7 could be accompanied by new watch faces, a report claims, made to take advantage of the increased screen size.

Current rumors for the Apple Watch Series 7 has Apple preparing a major redesign of the wearable device, complete with a larger screen. It seems that Apple will be putting the extra pixels to work from launch.

In Sunday's Power On newsletter, Mark Gurman claims he was informed the new watch faces will arrive in 41-millimeter and 45-millimeter sizes, up from the current 40mm and 44mm options. Multiple leaks have made similar claims, with Gurman's report adding to the pile and making it a more likely prospect.

Gurman goes on to say he was informed Apple "will bundle multiple new watch faces to take advantage of the bigger screen." While light on the changes, these improvements will most likely include an updated Infograph Modular face.

As for the rest of the Apple Watch, the report reiterates details previously heard in other leaks and rumors, including a flatter display design with more defined edges, and a better processor.

The 2021 release also seems to be one that centers on the design changes, rather than on new features. Gurman says he doesn't "expect any major health upgrades until at least next year," when it is suggested Apple could include a body temperature sensor.

I wish they made 42mm watch. 44mm is very big for me and 40mm is a bit small.

Lol. I am sure there's a sizeable market for it though.

Great. How many of the faces will be created by 3rd party developers?

Why is this even a story? Of course Apple will develop new watch faces to take advantage of the display. In other news, the new Apple Watch will also tell time.

Cmon man! At least say *SPOILER ALERT* before dropping such life altering news about an unannounced product! lol

I cant wait to upgrade my Series 6 to the Series 7 for this must have feature. FINALLY something that other watches have long had but Apple Watch was lacking.
