Should be pretty cheap since the composers are mostly long dead (and out of copyright).
And all those recordings are hundreds of years old too, right?
And only available on 78 RPM disc ;)
All my music is on wax cylinders, it sounds "warmer".

Anyone consider using Roon (https://roonlabs.com/) for classical music discovery?

Yes, that's what I am using. I have set up my own music server on an Intel NUC, using Roon's ROCK OS, and combine my local music library with a streaming subscription from Qobuz. Works perfectly for me and supports lossless HiRes multiroom streaming (if your endpoints are compatible). It's a bit of an upfront investment in terms of hardware and time commitment, but absolutely worth it if you like collecting music and want to be more independent of streaming services whose catalogs don't have everything and can change anytime.
I still use Apple Music for music discovery or when I am outside the home, but I do all my serious listening at home via Roon.
