On this week's episode of the AppleInsider Podcast Apple announces its September 14 event for "iPhone 13," "Apple Watch Series 7," and renders of the "iPhone 14" are leaked.

Apple officially announced its first Fall event taking place on September 14 at 10 a.m. Pacific. We expect to see the launch of Apple's "iPhone 13" lineup in addition to a redesigned "Apple Watch Series 7". New features coming to the iPhone line may include an always-on, 120Hz ProMotion display, and camera upgrades.

Rumored health features, such as glucose monitoring are not expected to launch with this year's Apple Watch, but the physical redesign will sport a new chassis with flat-edges and a slightly larger display.

Then recent supply constraints of the base model iPad point to a possible refresh at this event, and we could see the announcement of "AirPods 3" as well. Stay tuned to the AppleInsider podcast for a special recap episode that will release shortly after the event conclusion.

While we wait for the "iPhone 13," leaker Jon Prosser released renders of what could be the 2022 "iPhone 14" model. If accurate, next year's model would seemingly remove the notch in favor of a hole-punch style front facing camera, it would sport under-display Face ID, and would have a design reminiscent of the iPhone 4.

While it's unlikely that Apple will announce the "M1X" 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models at the September 14 event, sources at Digitimes do claim that they are still on-track for a Fall release. It's also expected that Apple will announce the redesigned iPad mini 6 in the coming months.

Some time in the next months, Apple is also going to try again with its CSAM features in iOS 15. After facing significant pushback, Apple announced tha tit will postpone these initiatives until an unspecified later date.

To round out the show we give hands-on impressions of the CalDigit Thunderbolt 4 dock, and amazingly, have some choice things to say about the Facebook smart glasses partnership with Ray-Ban.
