I ordered an Apple Watch band…. but received an iPad Pro instead. Apple ID shows my watch band was delivered, but obviously an error. What do I do now? Keep it? #apple#appledelivery#iPadPro

I think it's best to return it, some places have laws where if you keep something that isn't rightfully yours, even through someone else's error, they can treat it as theft. It happens with bank transfers. Apple could find the error at some point and request that it's returned. A wrong delivery happened to someone here where someone else got the package they ordered:
"What should I do if the wrong package was delivered to my house?
Take the following steps to try and get it to the intended recipient:
Don’t open it. Even if your address is on the box, it's illegal to open someone else's mail without first trying to correct the situation."
The law will likely differ based on region but I don't think it's worth the risk and it's the moral thing to do to return it. Apple Support should be able to resolve the situation.

It could be that someone else got the watch band instead of an iPad Pro.
There are references here that suggest you might be entitled to keep it but others say it would be treated as theft:

The ones that say you can keep the items seem to refer to unsolicited goods sent by companies as a form of marketing:

Items that are sent incorrectly are recommended to be returned.
