m1max performance on 16” vs 14”

Has anyone compared this?

I see people comparing the m1max to the m1pro - but not the m1max to itself in the 14” and 16” form factor MacBook pro’s.  It’s “possible” that the clock speeds could be lower in the 14” for “thermal” reasons or even just “marketing” reasons…

Has anyone anywhere compared the CPU benchmarks between the 14” model and 16” when both are equipped with the same m1max cpu and the same amount of memory?

    They should perform about the same. The only difference between optimally configured 14 and 16 MBP is the size, weight, and screen. They cost very close. You buy 14 for portability. 16 for screen real estate.

    We'll be talking about it more very soon, but they are nearly identical.
