Smooth here. Pegs my CPU to about 50%. No stuttering. My snappiness complaints really have to do with application loading and opening folders with large amounts of files.
Here's a demo of what I mean - comparing window drag to window resize.
Grab a Finder window at the window title. Sling it back and forth as hard as you can. Notice that it is not possible to move the mouse pointer off of the spot you grabbed, as hard as you might try.
Now do the same with window resize, grabbing the right lower corner and rapidly resizing the window. Notice that as you resize faster, the mouse pointer can easily be moved off the corner resize widget, "rubberbanding" with increasing speed.
Of course, the dragging is hardware accelerated, and the resizing is not. But how come there is still 50% processing power left over and it is still rubberbanding? Is there some sort of throttle somewhere?

To avoid compatability problems, you should visit MacUpdate or versionTracker for the most recent update.
