Beats by Dr. Dre's Beats Pill+ speaker is to going back on sale with a new limited edition styling, from March 4, 2022.

Apple discontinued selling the Beats Pill+ portable speaker in January, 2022, but the Stussy fashion house has now announced a new version.

"Beats By Dr. Dre and Stussy have collaborated on a limited edition Beats Pill+ Speaker," says the Stussy website's announcement, "that combines their signature Southern California aesthetic with a rich, clear sound field that will improve your listening experience anywhere."

The new Beats Pill+ strongly resembles the previous model in overall size, and controls. However, it has been branded with Stussy's Skull-and-Crossbones livery.

Few details of the specifications have been released. The new model does appear, however, to be engraved with the phrase, "the only good system is a sound system."

There is also no pricing information as yet. Stussy says that the new Beats Pill+ will be "available worldwide at stussy.com on Friday, March 4th at 10am PST."

Among the many stupid decisions Apple made with Beats, one (Beats 1) was discontinuing the Beats Pill. At the time it was more popular than Alexa devices when Apple axed it. What a stupid decision.

They should bring it back completely with new Apple chips and Siri.

I’m going to go out on a limb and assume that Apple has more accurate sales data for their own products and you do and it didn’t sell as well as you seem to think.
