Currently filming in Mexico City, "Midnight Family" is the story of Marigaby Tamayo, "an ambitious and gifted medical student," and played by Renata Vaca. It also stars Joaquin Cosio, Diego Calva, and Sergio Bautista.

"[She] spends her nights saving lives throughout a sprawling, contrasted and fascinating Mexico City aboard her family's privately owned ambulance," says Apple in a press release. "Along with her father Ramon (played by Cosio) and her siblings Marcus (played by Calva) and Julito (played by Bautista), Marigaby serves a population of millions by tackling extreme medical emergencies to make a living."

The drama is inspired by an award-winning documentary of the same name. It's been created for Apple TV+ by Ariel Award winner Gibran Portela and Julio Rojas. Natalia Beristain is the drama's showrunner and director.

No streaming date has been announced.
