in General Discussion
Apple has announced that its $77.5 billion revenue from products was a March quarter record, as was the number of Mac users upgrading to new devices.

Speaking during Apple's legally-mandated earnings call, Chief Financial Officer Luca Maestri said that the company was "pleased to report very strong financial results for the March quarter."

"[We] set a revenue record of $97.3 billion, up 9% year over year," he said. "We also set new March quarter records in the Americas, in Europe, and in Greater China."

Apart from the iPad, Maestri said that every product category grew, and that this included more quarter records "for iPhone, Mac, wearables, and accessories."

"This level of sales performance combined with unmatched customer satisfaction and loyalty helped our installed base of active devices reach an all time high for all major product categories as well as geographic segments," he continued.

Services had an all time revenue record of $19.8 billion, which is an increase of 17% year over year. "Operating cash flow of $28.2 billion," he added, "net income of $25 billion, and diluted earnings per share of $1.52 were all March quarter records."
