This happened to me on the June 14, I sent in my 2020 i3 256gb MacBook Air for repair it was fixed and reshipped the same day… June 15th it said arrived at 2:47 pm, i check the ring doorbell nothing has even tripped the doorbell at all since yesterday, i call FedEx they say it’s only insured for 50$ Aka the minimum that’s included with priority overnight…that’s no help so I call apple support, they say they can’t help I need to call FedEx and place a report and start and investigation…I tell them I did and they said you guys only insured the package for 50$ and they were happy to pay it…so apple support can’t do anything, I later found that customer relations has a division that contacts FedEx themselves so they can start a investigation from the shippers end… I sent him the video feed from ring and the shipping details that state “signature is required” followed by it saying signed by me…you click it though there is no signature… he calls back the next Tuesday so June 21st… says fedex confirmed the driver has no signature or proof he delivered… and I guess they stopped selling all intel macbooks week because he said he can’t send me a new i3 MBA he has to upgrade it to the m1, told me he’ll call back in a day or two with tracking… calls me says the MBA is t ready he’ll call again Saturday, 7 days from the order and says it still not ready lol I find out China is locking down employees inside and making them sleep there… they’re rioting and breaking out long story short he never told me m1 was delayed weeks just made it seem like there was a problem even now today m2 and m1 is delayed and anything custom is months delayed
