This article is complete bullshit. Just my opinion.
I'm afraid I must agree.  No exciting anymore?  Who in THE world has their head in the sand such that Apple's M1 Max and M1 Ultra chips are totally ignored?  I've not been this excited as a Mac user in years.  But even if the author was talking about "the majority of people who use Windows," this is AppleInsider, and we Mac fans don't care about the majority of people.  We can about the minority, of which we are a part.  Macs and Mac users rule!

Also, the presentation of VR Goggles in the article seems to indirectly show the article author feels THAT is "exciting." LOL.  Not on your life!  What's exciting about a heavy thing strapped to your head?  I don't really care how great VR is with that thing on my head.  Sorry, but I'll wait for the Holodeck.  There's the REAL excitement, baby!

Apple was "on the decline since 2016" in terms of the horrid Butterfly keyboard and lack of MBP features, but they did an about face and fixed most of that.  (No USB-A, despite the fact it continues to be ubiquitous, but I guess we can't have it all.)

Anyway, I can't get away from Apple silicon. It's the opposite of the article's assertion in the closing sentence. It's not something we've been familiar with, and it's VERY NOVEL!  That's precisely why Apple, as a Tech Giant, isn't going anywhere.

It’s slow-news, quota-piece season everywhere this time of year. Only 2-3 more weeks until things start picking up again, lol. At least we got a day off from the Kuo/Gurman bullshit express.
