Your iPhone doesn't even have to be unlocked. The Mac still recognizes that it's near, turns on the iPhone's camera,
On the face of it that sounds like a potential security vulnerability. A Mac will recognize a nearby iPhone on the same network and access the camera even if the phone is locked. I’m admittedly a bit paranoid about security but that sounds kinda’ sketchy.
it only works if both devices are signed into your iCloud account. Shouldn't be an issue unless you share an iCloud ID with multiple people?
There’s little rhyme or reason in how it is organized. It’s like my dog decided the order of things. Not an intelligent human, and def not something I would expect from a company that strives for excellence.
Except that apps are alphabetical at the bottom. That’s the only part that makes sense.
...it seems now the macOS has been downgraded to (even partial) support limited to a maximum of 5 year old hardware...?
Nope - existing & previous versions macOS still support the same older hardware as they did before the announcement of macOS Ventura. They just don't get the new features/enhancements.
