Apple releases MagSafe cable in new colors to match M2 MacBook Air
Apple is now taking preorders for a USB-C to MagSafe charging cable, made in four colors to match the new M2 MacBook Air.
Alongside opening up preorders for the new M2 MacBook Air -- and its shipping date instantly slipping back -- Apple has also added a matching new cable. The 2m color USB-C to MagSafe 3 cable costs $49.
It's available to order in Midnight, Starlight, Space Gray, and Silver. The Silver one was already available for the 14-inch MacBook Pro, so it can be ordered now and picked up today in store.
That color cable can also be delivered today for an extra fee of $9. Otherwise, with free delivery it will arrive on Tuesday, July 12.
The three new colors are all listed as shipping by between July 15 and July 19, 2022, for a delivery charge of $8. Alternatively, they can be sent free and will arrive between July 18 and July 20.
Apple also says that the new colors will be available in stores from July 20.
