Apple Insider web notifications have stopped. How to get them back?

Just that. I checked Safari>Preferences>Notifications and Apple Insider is not listed as having asked for permission to show alerts in Notification Center. And the Notifications & Focus prefs pane, under the Notifications tab, does not have Apple Insider in there, either. On my other Mac, Apple Insider appears in both of those.

I guess I wonder if there is a way to force Safari to see Apple Insider's request for permission, or to get the Apple Insider site to once again ask for that permission to send notifs...any advice, friends?
