call me crazy but if the have an update with a ground break-ing new feature but would you not expect it to require more review than just an ordinary update?

Sounds like Telegram wants Apple to post its app on the store immediately without due diligence. Apple says, "hard pass."

I'm with Apple. I want anything I might download on the App Store to have gone through the entire process of review and approval/rework/denial. Who knows in advance what malicious code or unauthorized API the developer might put in that app? This is how domestic and foreign actors gain access to your data for sale. And how they get into businesses and hold their systems for ransom.
Yeah, let's be with the multi-trillion dollar tech giant without questioning them!

    More like BrainFreeze...
Haha that’s hilarious. It will stick.

    Yet another entitled developer.
Actually, he may be advocating that developers pay for all the individual services that Apple currently provides for free.

They probably long for the good old days, when just anyone could try to get Best Buy to put their app on the shelf for 60-70% of retail. Oh, and by the way, would you like to pay for better placement? Maybe even upgrade to an end-cap?
Developers do not realize just how easy they have it now. Well, a good lot of them don't.

Yes, that's my point. They don't say what they want, they just say what they don't want.

    Actually 60-70% was retail’s cut.

So, it turns out it was apparently held back by an animated emoji feature.

These app developers are right. As a game developer who created over 20 games on the app store (often tied to theatrical releases) I can only applaud these developers protesting. It's time this gets addressed. Apple's become a shit company with good hardware.
When Russia quits the Ukraine Apple can approve Telegram…..
The developers lived in Berlin when the app was released and have since moved to Dubai…

Given the shit devs like you are putting in their apps to siphon as much personal data about us as humanly possible whilst trying to cover it up with lies, I’m with APPLE for telling these devs to take a hike, yourself included after that little tirade you just posted and exposed yourself with.
