Really? I've noticed that too, about you I mean.

It's not as much as I want the US foreign policy to fail. I look at it more as a continuous failure. And with that the source of many of the current problems in the world. Not that your alone in this. All the other European countries with a colonial past, and the other past and present superpowers carry blame here. But right now the US is in a unique position.

And when I say the US I mean the power, not the people. I think most americans would have been ashamed and demanded change. If they wern't so busy watching survivour.

Your Signature is very telling as well. I would even go out on a limb and bet money you are not against the War in Iraq like many of the 3 year olds that protest the war the world over and if the truth be known you are simply anti-American and anti-Bush.

Anti-bush andministration-and-US-foreign-policy-in-general would be the right term. Not anti-american, not by far. I use a mac don't I?

I think the attitude you display with your hope of american mistakes showes a blatent hatred on your behalf. Sure I could be reading you all wrong but come on let's be honest? What is your motivation? Are you Anti-American? Anti-Bush?.

My motivation could be to to advocate a change of american foreign policy. Not that I think I have a slightest chance actually changing anything. On the other hand, I think you americans will come around eventually. You're bright people.

Actually, I love America. I dream of renting a an old thunderbird and driving from the east to the west coast...

I would hope that you could grow up a little if that is the case.

Thank you! I wish for your continuing intellectual and spiritual growth too Fellowship! May we all be more mature some day.

He could, but then he would have to setup a homepage and type up some "factual documents" and that all takes time.

    There is that confusion again.

I was sure sjo was a she.

Danish names are much more easy. 98% of the time you can determine the sex of a person by how the name is spelled. If it ends with a vowel its a she. Consonant its a he.

In any case, what could you possibly care about it? I'll come and go as the mood hits me, you know?

I think it was a fella called thegelding.

And I don't mind it, really, I don't. I think you are one of the best-writing posters at AI, if not THE best. Of course, to see that same good writing applied to topics with which I'm not immediately jumping to agreement...

    Interesting article:

It's hardly surprising that it has been difficult to find a link to Iraq and al qaeda. In the Arab world, Iraq was probably the nation LEAST connected to al qaeda.

Although a brute, Saddam must be/ (have been?) hated by fundamentalist Islamics. At least women were liberated under this man's rule.

Well, thank you! What a nice thing to say.

Yeah, it might've been thegelding. I came across him in a music/iPod thread in General Discussion the other day. He's still around, just avoiding AppleOutsider. Which, I have to say, is probably the smart way to go.

I try to, but sometimes I just can't help it!

The world will settle back down soon enough and all these divisive war posts will go away and we can all get back to making fun of Michael Jackson and reality TV.

What I find most shocking is that section where it talked about him dating Laura Bush. I had no idea! And co-owner of the Utah Jazz? Wow.

    The things we didn't know!
