Our biggest story from the past seven days has been the architectural honeycomb shades from Lutron-owned Serena Shades. They pair with Lutron's Smart Bridge to allow easy HomeKit control of your window coverings.

We also checked out the Pela Lomi, a countertop composter that can turn your food scraps, plant trimmings, or compostable phone cases into rich dirt in a matter of hours. We play a round of "Lomi or chicken" to find out what you can put in Lomi versus what you can feed to backyard chickens.

After getting mentioned on a past episode of HomeKit Insider, the Thread-enabled Air Versa Purelle air purifier is finally available. This HomeKit air purifier can be picked up for $189.99 but AppleInsider readers -- and listeners -- can save 10 percent with promo code AIFANS10.

Finally, Stephen discusses his ongoing issues with his Philips Hue Sync Box. After swapping cables and settings, he still cannot get it to operate properly with Dolby Vision.

You were wrong about Fluid One. You don't need a tag for every device. You have one, or a couple in a room. It then knows where the device is based on distance and angle from tag.

I have tv+ 4K 2nd gen, going to a Denon Receiver then to a Hue Sync then to a 2016 LG 4K OLED 3D. Everything does Dolby Vision, and everything works just fine. Only time the sync doesn't work is when playing 3D (Known issue).

    2 remarks:
    - image settings are usually specific to the color mode (SDR/HDR10/Dolby Vision on ly 2018 LG OLED for example), so your TV probably has stupid Dolby Vision settings
    - inputs on the HDMI Hue Sync box are not equal - it's mentioned in the advanced settings at the bottom of a pae-: please try using only HDMI 4 - that solved my issues with the sync box.

Note: I have my Hue Sync Box -> HDFury Vertex -> 2 outputs (LG OLED TV and LG soundbar). I use the Vertex because the 2018 LG soundbar does not handle Dolby Vision passthrough to a 2018 LG OLED TV, and regular ARC has delay (which you can now adjust)
