u know what? the biggest problem of mac os x is mac os x

mac os x.1 was a big step forward..but jaguar is absolutely great

i saw mac os 10.0.4 and installed and yah..neat..but soooo slow on my imac333 - back to 9

    later i tryed 10.1..was a hell better..back to 9

than 10.2..and yah...the apps were all there...all the stuff i wanted from the major players..and cool stuff i couldnt live without anymore..like ichat

...i cant say jaguar is as snappy as mac os 9 on my imac...but usable on most machines with a 400mhz g3 or any g4...

so try if u have jaguar...wont hurt...deleting takes time...60000 items when ure not happy with it

10.3 looks like an absolute killer

Well, as of right now, over 92% of users here are running some form of OS X on their machines.

(violently rubs his eyes) I've GOT to get a new machine!

9.2.2. RoadRunner, the cable internet provider in my area, does not fully support OS X yet. It will work, but they "can't guarantee perfect functionality." I am having enough problems with them already (lots of outages) without swimming against the stream. I'm just a word processor / web browser / iTunes guy anyway, so 9.2.2 is fine for me (for now).
