I realize that's asking too much of you, but, is it really too much to ask?
In Baghdad, U.S. Marines were in a firefight early Monday with snipers in a building near the Palestine Hotel, where many Western journalists are housed. For more than an hour, beginning just before 1:30 a.m. (5:30 p.m. Sunday EDT), Marines staked out positions along Firdos Square occasionally firing rounds of ammunition and sending up flares to light the area.
A tank also moved slowly through the square, the same place where Marines helped a crowd of Iraqis bring down a large statue of Saddam last week.
