The newest betas can be acquired via the Apple Developer Center by developers signed up for the program, or as an over-the-air update on devices already running beta software. Public betas typically appear shortly after the developer versions, and downloaded through the Apple Beta Software Program website.

The tenth beta takes over from the ninth from September 27, and the eighth from September 20. The seventh beta was on September 9, the sixth landed on August 25, and the fifth beta landed on August 8.

The tenth beta build is number 22A5365d, replacing the eighth build, number 22A5358e.

Final public versions of macOS Ventura are expected to arrive sometime in October.

New features arriving in macOS Ventura include Stage Manager for app management and multitasking, video Live Captions, Finder and System Settings changes, Spotlight updates, Continuity Camera, Passkeys, and upgrades to Messages, and Safari, Photos, among other changes.

AppleInsider, and Apple itself, strongly advise users avoid installing betas on to "mission-critical" or primary devices, as there is the small chance of data loss or other issues. Instead, testers should install betas onto secondary or non-essential devices, and to make sure there are sufficient backups of important data before updating.
