What Russia did that was outragious

was too pretend to want to stop Irac with UN resalutions and plot againt the US and Britt by taking the side of Saddam and share intell.

Russia is a double agent!!! How can you defend that.

France did the same thing by telling Irac in advance where the inspevtors were going to look for weapons of mass distruction.

The biggest criticism that the US has gotten is that we should have let the UN handle it. We neeeeeeeeed UN favor and can not go againt world opinnion.

    As it turns out

Russia was spying for saddam and has shared intell since the 1970's

France has been sabatoging UN inspections of weapons of mass distruction

Germany built all of Saddam's Billion dollar Nuclear bomb proof Palaces

China has no love for the US and has stated many times that they are preparing for the enivitable war with the US

    and Canada is just silly

And I still hear anti war people wanting the UN to handle things

interesting that most or all of the UN members who was againt the war have gotten huge financial benifits from Saddam.

or do the anti war people think that this is all US propanganda

Great post. But I would be careful if I was you. Most of the time sarcasm is lost on the members here.

Hey, I just found out that France, Germany and Russia refuse to lift Sanctions on Iraq.

Hmmmm, I wonder why. I thought that the sanctions were put into place because of Saddam

Or could it be that they are protecting a source of revenue for themselves and that they never gave a hoot for Iracq.

Because the U.N. wants access to the country to make sure they're free of WMD before lifing the sanctions. Same reason they've always had for the sanctions.

Yes, because we wouldn't want Saddam and his party to regain strength (after being "strangled" by said sanctions) and continue their strive for WMD once the sanctions have been lifted from present-day (Saddam-free) Iraq, now would we?

    US = ulterior motives

    anyone else = nobility

The saddest thing about zealots is that they are self-sustaining. It's an ugly cycle.

When? Before or after he was our pet? Remember up until the invasion of Q8 everybody did buisness with Saddam. And do you really believe that the benefits various countries had 15 years ago effect how they vote today.

Not even close to how silly your arguments are

Look. When US and GB wanted to put the invasion of Iraq to the SC nobody thought the war could be stopped. It was a sure thing. IF the members of the counsil wanted a piece of the cake the best thing to do was to sent a few boats, a special operation unit or something else that made them part of the "coalition". That would have been the economical sound thing to do.

Just look at my country. We sent one sub and one fregat that never made it to the gulf before the war was over. And now we are rewarded with contracts. THATS how you mix buisness with international relations.

France warned iraq where the un was going to look for WMD in advance. Had we listened to the un we would have never found any weapons and saddam would still be in power.

what far worse underhanded double cross did the us do a month ago?

    US does = ulterior motives.

Anyone else also = ulterior motives.

An open process = everyone has to curtail their ulterior motives for the good of all.

You should stop making up arguments because they don't refer to anyone here. It makes you look funny.

No, they think that the inspectors need to finish their job and make sure the country is free from any WMD from the Saddam Hussein era.

I do not understand why the anti war people defend the UN so much. Is it clear now that the UN was never going to resolve anything. That if France did not aid Saddam by tipping him off as to where they were going to search for weapons in advance the inspections might have worked and we would not of had to go to war. Saddam had to be removed and I blame the UN for the WAR. Basically it is clear that France, Germany and Russia had a lot of money invested in Saddam and did not wish to unseat him. Even with this knowledge you guys still believe that we should have given the UN more time. If we had they would have searched for years and never found anything and Saddam would still be in power building WMD and Bush would look bad and be blamed for never finding WMD which is what you all want anyhow. So let me ask you guys why are you not MAD!! at the UN. Dont you know that you were all betrayed. Or do you think that it does not matter because the US has done worse.

Come on these are the facts: Russia is a spy for Saddam, France is a double agent, and Germany and China have a fortune investred in Saddam. Come on and connect the dots. its time to open your minds, Bush is not all wrong

It is not clear that the UN was never going to resolve anything. The hawks need to believe that in order to support their un-just war.

Explain how the UN was going to remove WMD while France was sabotaging the inspectors and with Russia being a secret ally since the 1970's

Obviously they have their own agenda. Knowing this do you really believe that the UN was going to rresolve anything or do you think that this is just propaganda

it's like no matter what I write you read what you want to hear. Can you acknowledge that France and Russia did what it did so that I know that I am not typing for nothing.

I can not believe that anti-war people love the UN so much. do you believe that France, Germany, Russia and China or so superior and far more moral than us so that they are beyond critism??

Help me understand why no critisism of the UN when they have have betrayed you.
