It is true. Only US government has been exposed to collecting data worldwide. China has not. Only allegations after allegations.
This post is a CCP propaganda FAIL. (Chinese Communist Party)

I personally have a collection of proven CCP hacks of the WORLD dating back to 1998, the year the USA foolishly granted China Most Favored Nation Status. At this point in time, due to the incessant proven hacking of the USA, Most Favored Nation Status has been eroded by the US federal government back to nothing.

Here is a phrase that gives away the entire show, CCP:
Red Hacker Alliance, formed with CCP assistance, eventually folded into the Chinese government. Play denial games and get bitten back, liars.

    This ISN'T "allegation":

    The Spy Who Hacked Me

I await your usual scam calls and scam emails of chastisement for pointing out the FACTS OF THE MATTER. Stop your criminal activity and actually benefit your country, CCP!

Why AppleInsider continues to allow this CCP spy and propagandist to post here is beyond me. AI doesn't seem to care about disinformation being spread on their platform but they'll likely ban me for continuing to attack this lying spy. Know what? I don't care.
You don't know attacking another AI member is reason to be banned? Jesus! The Western world is full of people with hatred toward China.

LOL Is your English good? Read this sentence. "Henderson speculates that while the Chinese government may not actively sponsor these groups, there may be, at least, a tacit complicity. " So your words are disinformation at best.

    https://qz.com/africa/1192493/china-spied-on-african-union-headquarters-for-five-years
In an investigation published by French newspaper Le Monde, China, which also paid and built the computer network at the AU, allegedly inserted a backdoor (in French) that allowed it to transfer data. The hack wasn’t detected until Jan. 2017 when technicians noticed that between midnight and 2 am every night, there was a peak in data usage even though the building was empty. After investigating, it was found that the continental organization’s confidential data was being copied on to servers in Shanghai.

China doesn't just spy on its billion+ citizens. All of their "gifts" are Trojan horses that other nations should reject as it will come back to bite them in the arse.

In my case, certainly NOT! Instead, I have great reverence as well as pity for the citizens of China. What deserves 'hatred' is the CCP: The Chinese Communist Party. They're a totalitarian regime of liars and outright international criminals. That's not my opinion. That's common public knowledge which you, waveparticle, have FAILED to propagandize into oblivion.

From 2011 regarding acts of the Red Hacker Alliance:

Advanced Persistent Tweets: Zero-Day in 140 Characters

From 2017, the detailed criminal history of the Red Hacker Alliance:

Chinese Red Hacker Army // Red Hacker Alliance // Honkers // Honker's Union // HUC // 中国红客队 // 红客

From 2021 regarding 'China's "malicious" cyber activity':

US: China govt contracts criminal hackers, behind Microsoft cyberattack

Thank you waveparticle for bringing further attention this criminal CCP organization.
Would you like me to post more?

Apple data is ALREADY stored on China servers. It was an ultimatum a while back. So now, even American data is stored on Chinese servers when you communicate with someone from China. Since most American businesses also have manufacturing in China, it's quite the treasure trove Apple handed over.

If China isn’t spying (aka “collecting data”) on every nation they can reach their intelligence service needs to be fired en masse and competent people hired.

Unfortunately, that particular story gets thrown around more than most.

Huawei made a statement tackling the claims head on.

    https://www.huawei.com/uk/facts/voices-of-huawei/statement-on-huaweis-work-with-the-african-union

African officials also denied the allegations.

The Le Monde story cites anonymous sources which allege a backdoor was inserted.

Those details make it crystal clear that real evidence of the claim does not exist. It never has.

We will never know who those anonymous sources are, much less see the supposed evidence but, to this day, the African Union continues to work with Huawei. That should say it all.

The other story that is in permanent orbit is the Vodafone Italy backdoor from Bloomberg. That, in spite of the head of Vodafone Italy, publicly stating it was basically complete nonsense.
