Selena Gomez Apple TV+ film nominated for MTV's Best Music Documentary
The high-profile Apple TV+ show, "Selena Gomez: My Mind & Me," has been nominated for Best Music Documentary at the MTV Movie & TV Awards.

First announced in September 2022, the feature-length documentary simultaneously debuted on Apple TV+ and at AFI Fest in Hollywood.
Now competing in the Best Music Documentary category, it's the only Apple TV+ production up for an MTV Movie & TV Awards (MATVA). However, its star Selena Gomez is also up for both Best Performance in s Show, and Best Kiss, both for "Only Murders in the Building."
This year there are 26 gender-neutral categories that can be voted for by members of the public via the official site. Voting has officially begun, and will end on April 17, 2023 at 6 p.m. ET.
There is a dedicated page for voting on the official site, at vote.mtv.com, but at time of writing the site isn't available.
MTV says the results will be revealed in an "epic, supersized Los Angeles takeover event LIVE from Barker Hangar," on May 7.
