Code found in iOS 16.4 revealed the existence of Beats Studio Buds+, later confirmed by an FCC filing. Even though the earbuds aren't due for another month, they appeared in an Amazon listing that provided the ability to pre-order until the listing was pulled.

The listing revealed what customers can expect from the new product, aside from the striking transparent color option. They offer ANC, Transparency mode, and signature Beats sound.

The ANC mode has up to 1.6x more power and Transparency is up to twice as good thanks to 3x larger microphones, new venting, and a "powerful" processor.

Like the original pair, the Studio Buds+ take advantage of one-touch pairing for Android and Apple devices, support Spatial Audio, and has on-device tap controls. Battery life is quoted at 36 hours, and the charging case uses USB-C to charge.

The Beats Studio Buds+ listing was first spotted by Michael Burkhardt, which relayed the info to MacRumors for coverage.

According to the Amazon listing, the Beats Studio Buds+ will become available on May 18 and deliver on May 19. They retail for $169.95 and were briefly shown as available to pre-order in transparent, black, or ivory.

As of the publication, Beats Studio Buds+ were sold out via the Amazon listing.

Update: Apple has pulled the Amazon listing.

I have the Beats Fit Pro and the Bose Quiet Comfort IIs and would like to see an improved version of the Beats Fit Pros because the sound quality and noise cancellation is nowhere near as good as the Bose QCIIs. The only advantage is better integration with Apple devices.
Have no interest in the Apple earbuds as I hate white plastic.
