In the news this week is a slew of new products, some available to buy straight away.

We discuss the new InvisOutlet from Intecular that combines a smart outlet, with an environmental sensor and a motion sensor. This outlet also supports Matter, alongside Google Home, Apple Home, and SmartThings.

Then your hosts debate whether they'd use a free TV, if it served ads on a secondary display. That's the concept from Pluto TV's founder that offers you a free TV and soundbar in exchange for showing you ads and harvesting your data.

Netatmo, Ring, and Eve all have new products this week too. They introduced a new smart AC controller, Echo devices, and an upgraded Flare smart light respectively.

There was also a report this week that some Wemo devices are vulnerable to hacking. We break down whether or not you need to be concerned.

We round out the episode by discussing the new BirdBuddy bird bath, showing off how to break down your excess food with Lomi, and quickliy reviewing the Alogic Matrix charging system.
