The iPhone 15 could be offered in more new colors than previously thought, with a leak claiming the lineup could include a pink option for 2023.

As the September launch of the iPhone 15 gets closer, rumors about the color choices of Apple are becoming more frequent. In the latest leak, it is proposed that there could be a bunch of colors available for the non-Pro models.

In a Saturday tweet by prolific leaker @VnchocoTaco, also known as "ShrimpApplePro," an image of what appears to be a Weibo post is shared. The post, translated from Chinese, mentions that there is to be the use of "green, light yellow, and pink" models.

If true, the range of color options for the iPhone 15 could be, according to Shrimp:

  • Midnight

  • Starlight

  • Green

  • Yellow

  • Pink

  • Product (RED)

While Shrimp does have a history of providing Apple-related leaks, the Weibo-based screenshot offers a relatively small amount of proof. An image is included in the post depicting a Foxconn security badge, with the photo covered by a thumb, as if to prove the source works for Apple's assembly partner.

Extra color for poor people iPhone 15 will be green, yellow and pink
So,

- Starlight
- Green
- Yellow
- Pink
- Product (RED)

In previous leaks, another Weibo leaker offered in July that the iPhone 15 would use a green color, at the same time as reporting on a crimson iPhone 15 Pro shade. In February, leaks put forward a pink and blue iPhone 15 and a dark red iPhone 15 Pro.

There's no guarantee at all that the leaks about colors are completely accurate, especially for launch. Apple does habitually update the iPhone lineup with a mid-year color addition, so it is plausible one color may not arrive until spring 2024.

I fully expect pink to be a thing for at least six months. Foregone conclusion at formals, proms and weddings.

Down boy! It's not like you're going to get anything pink other than the iPhone!  :D

Possibly…. And it may be popular with teenage girls.    Some really nice men’s watches have pink faces and are classy looking, have been wanting one.  But, not sure a pink phone is for me.  Good to see Apple mix it up with choices.  I think an orange phone might be cool.
i hope they keep the yellow also.

Whatever the colors are you gotta love the mix of literal names (Green) and poetic ones (Midnight). Just what is Starlight?

My other half would definitely spring for a Barbie Pink iPhone, as would my daughter!

What I would like to see though is better colour options on the higher end. The “pro” colours are boring & muted in comparison.

I will go you one better -  how about Apple havi g custom orders with a variety of colors to pick from?  The palette of available colors could be  shown in Apple stores.

Starlight is a white-ish yellow-ish option that is already available on several Mac and iPad models, so it stands to reason it would be available on the iPhone as well.

Agreed! but you miss the point. Why are some colors given simple names while others have more interesting renditions?

Or they could have chassis on display in a few hundred different colors and once you choose the one you want they add the insides and display. Or they could have samples in thousands of colors and paint the chassis and add the rest. It would be very cool.

Yeah,  i was thinking they could have about 20 different actual color chips to look at.  I don’t think it would be practical having thousands and might make it hard for people to choose.

Apple would have their usual black and white options and the other 2 main colors for that year in mass production.  But a custom option could be available at an extra cost of course.
