Anyone considering doing or has done a 2012 macMini⁉️ I want to for my home office. Please let me know if anyone has and can advise. ThankZ.
I just updated my 2012 Mac Mini, and my 2015 MacBook Pro a few hours ago. Took a little time, but all in all it went off without a hitch. They are both running Sonoma now. I wanted the updated messaging features. Now all my Macs have Sonoma. Happy camper.
I just upgraded from Ventura to Sanoma. In less than half an hour all is running fast an' great. This on a 15 inch 2016 MacBook Pro. End of ad.
I just upgraded my 2016 MacBook Pro from Monterey to Sonoma. Now I cannot get to WiFi and the resolution is stuck at native 2560 x 1800 -- in displays it says monitor type unknown

Couple updates -- first off, my MacBook was a 2015, not a 2016. And I have it up and running. I did a clean install using the Mr. Macintosh detailed walkthrough on YouTube -- this was an excellent walkthrough. Highly recommend.

Open core is a community project and very effective. However, like most things, it can be better to let others discover the quirks with a new version, unless you enjoy being on the bleeding edge.

As I said in the comment above, I did get it up and working. Not sure if the success the 2nd time around was due to:
1) the detailed walkthrough from Mr. Macintosh 2) wiping my startup disk and doing a clean install 3) using 1.01 of OpenCore which was available by the time I did the 2nd attempt
in any case, thanks for the heads up on the new release. My MacBook is not my primary machine at the moment which is why I went ahead with the experiment. Going to wait a bit before attempting with my iMac

Great stuff (I'd missed your follow up as I hadn't noticed page 2 of this thread).

Note, the latest version has a fix for Broadcom WiFi and graphics issues: https://github.com/dortania/OpenCore-Legacy-Patcher/releases
