North Carolina's new Apple store set to open early & ahead of holidays
Apple's new retail location in the Charlotte, North Carolina region is set to open earlier than expected, and just in time for holiday shopping.
Apple Birkdale Village opens on December 14
will open at 10:00 AM ET on December 14. The store is located at 8805 Townley Road in Huntersville, North Carolina. Store hours are 10:00 am to 9:00 pm Monday through Saturday and 12:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Sunday.
According to The Charlotte Observer, Apple has said The Birkdale Village location has 80 employees that collectively speak eight languages.
The new location is about eight miles away from the closed Northlake Mall location. The still open SouthPark location is about 17 miles away, on the other side of Charlotte, North Carolina.
Birkdale Village is a 250,000-square-foot open-air shopping center that houses 60 stores including Warby Parker, Barnes & Noble, Kendra Scott, Lovesac, Sephora, Total Wine & More, and Dick's Sporting Goods.
The location has a total of 320 apartments and over 50,000 square feet of office space as well.
Apple initially slated the opening of the store to take place in early 2024.
