Govee is updating two of its most popular products at CES 2024, taking the wraps off an updated rope light and its AI-driven sync box, both of which work with Apple Home via Matter.

The new Govee Neon Rope Light 2 has smoother RGBIC lighting transitions, a more flexible mode, and improved bend clips that make it easier than ever to create any shape you'd like to display on your wall.

With the Govee app, you can use the camera to identify your shape and it will offer you several different lighting effects throughout the various segments.

It's Matter-compatible to bring support to Apple Home and is available in black and white backs to fit various rooms.

The smart home brand is also showing its new AI Sync Box 2. It supports resolutions up to 8K and can sync your lights with 4K 120Hz gameplay with the brand's CogniGlow technology.

This AI technology identifies what you're doing in-game to allow the lights to react. Not just mirroring color.

Govee is also spinning up a new dedicated brand, GoveeLife, that will focus on smart home accessories outside of lighting. At CES, it's showing off a new presence sensor, and a Matter-certified Plug Pro.

All products are expected to be released in the first half of 2024. Pricing info to be available closer to launch.
