A new "Shot on iPhone" video has been released by Apple, one showing highlights from Usher's Apple Music Halftime Show from Super Bowl LVIII.

Lasting over 10 minutes, the video released on Apple's official YouTube channel offers a view of "the epic show, like you've never seen before," according to the description.

Rather than just featuring clips from the performance itself, presented by Apple Music, the "Shot on iPhone" version instead cuts between interviews and the final show. It also features behind-the-scenes preparations for the event, including rehearsals with dancers and other featured artists.

Four songs are featured in the video, including Usher's "Caught Up," as well as "My Boo" with Alicia Keys, "OMG" with Will.i.am, and "Yeah" with Ludacris and Lil Jon.

Much like other videos in the Shot on iPhone campaign, the entire documentary was filmed using the iPhone 15 Pro. Over 40 iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max units were used in its production, ranging from typical use to being attached to performers on stage.

The film was directed by Mike Carson with Xiaolong Liu serving as the director of photography. The halftime show itself was directed by Jay-Z and Hamish Hamilton.

The documentary is a big demonstration of the iPhone 15 Pro range's videography potential, with the current-gen models featuring the ability to film in Log and to capture 4K ProRes video at 60 frames per second to an external storage device.

It was a decent show. Nothing groundbreaking, but it was good. And it wasn’t overtly raunchy like some of the others (Jennifer Lopez, Rihanna, Janet Jackson) we’ve had to endure.  So that’s a plus.

    Lots of people.

They’re those folks you see at weddings, church, events, etc. guiding people to their seats.

I find it interesting that all the artists you chose to single out as "raunchy" are women, while notable male performances throughout the years have included Michael Jackson grabbing his crotch, Bruce Springsteen sliding on his knees crotch first into the camera, or Prince appearing to masturbate a deliberately phallic shaped guitar. Not that there is anything wrong with any of that.
