Apple has corrected the mistake on the Page all "Gold" were changed to "or" but it still say's a G4 iBook, and it's not a missprint since the requierments are 733 G4, but they could be talking about the 12" PowerBook
System Requirements:
Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 4 preliminary system requirements (subject to change):
Mac OS X 10.1.2 or later
Power Mac G4, iMac G4, eMac, PowerBook G4, or iBook G4
733MHz G4 processor or faster
256MB of RAM
700MB hard drive space
3D Graphics Acceleration required (minimum of ATI Radeon or NVIDIA GeForce 2 series card)
Or it's simply a misprint. Obviously, with the iBook just being ramped up to 900MHz there are no plans this year for the iBook to go G4. It isn't going to happen! Move on people.
NO I ABSOLUTELY REFUSE TO BELIEVE THAT THIS IS A TRANSLATION MISPRINT! I am confident that Apple will release a tacky looking iBook and that Tony Hawk has the NDA free inside scoop regarding Apple's plans. This thread has all the credibility of one of the Iraqi information minister's PR releases.
It might be neither a typo nor any magical insight on the part of the publisher of Tony Hawk. It could just be sensible future-proofing.
Presumably they expect to sell this products for a number of months/years, they now it requires a G4 processor, they don't want to have to reprint all the boxes if and when Apple make a G4 iBook (and let's face it they will unless they skip straight to low power 970s - even if it is still many months/years away), SO they decide to go ahead and put iBook G4 as a minimum requirement.
If they left off iBook now and then a G4 iBook comes out, they will have all these customers going - why doesn't it work on a G4 iBook when it works on an old G4 Powerbook??

It never said "Gold"
MacBidouille lists the requirements in English and someone "translated" it from French to English: or = gold.

I'd like to think that right now there's some Tony Hawk forum chock-full of posts salivating over the likely plot of his Broadway stage debut...

Exactly, so it's gold, big deal, it's still a G4.

Not a type, a mistranslation. (actually a valid translation)

Yes, it was a mistranslation. A typo is when you accidentally put "type" isntead.

It'll stay alive as long as you keep it alive.
It might require more budget, but I think that they'd be happier in the end, along with their investors.

totally, they have their market niche, they have their form factor, now its time to redirect more R+D into the internal components.
