Jennifer Tuohy covers smart home tech at The Verge and she's stopping by the podcast once again. She took the chance to dive into Amazon's new release from last week.

The Amazon Echo Hub is designed primarily for Amazon products but can work with Matter-enabled products too, including controlling those in HomeKit. Jennifer has one on hand and walked us through what she likes and doesn't like about the product.

We also talked about two new apps that have launched for Apple Vision Pro. HomeBatteries and HomeUI are both now available on the App Store for Apple's headset.

Wyze suffered a major security incident last week, revealing that thousands and thousands of users saw thumbnails from other user's. More than a thousand users clicked on these thumbnails.

Finally, Meta confirmed it was looking into enabling AirPlay functionality on the Quest 3, turning the VR headset into a receiver.

After the news, we also went hands-on with the Belkin Auto-Tracking Stand Pro. This is the first stand to support Apple DockKit and can track you as you move up to 360-degrees.
