Apple has 28 retail locations in Canada, 12 of which reside in Ontario. One of the four Toronto Apple Stores is getting an upgrade.

A message on Apple's website promotes the upcoming change with a simple message. No other details are provided.

The message reads "Get ready. Great things are in store."

Apple retail watcher Michael Steeber spotted the change, which was first covered by MacRumors. The report reveals that the change is indeed a store move to a much larger location.

The existing store in Square One opened in August 2009. The new location will be much larger, which will help funnel traffic at Canada's second-largest shopping mall.

Apple made a similar move in 2023 for Apple Tysons Corner. The small store that opened in 2001 was upgraded to a bigger location in the same mall.

Apple's retail page doesn't provide details about when the move will be complete or when the new location will open. No schedule changes have been made to the existing location, so shoppers will still have access to the original Apple Square One for now.

Maybe correct Sq One's location to the heart of Mississauga (Canada's largest urban city next door to Toronto)...cheers

Mississauga is not Toronto. They are two distinctly different cities.

Indeed. If they're lumping everything into 'Toronto', we've got six: Fairview, Eaton Centre, Yorkdale, Square One, Sherway Gardens, and Markville.
