12" PB Start up times

I hope someone has the same experience with me. My iBook with the following specs: 700mhz, 12.1" LCD, 384mb RAM, 16MB VRAM, combo and MacOS 10.2.6
With this specs, it generally takes me only at most 1 minutes to startup. 2 1/2 minutes if I shut down the hard way.
So, I think you might have to ensure that your OS9 don't startup at startup. I only use OS9 only when I need to use OS9/8 applications.
