It seems to me that some think everything brand new Apple releases needs to have current iPhone sales and revenue or else it's deemed a failure. Not everything Apple releases is going to explode like the iPhone did and it doesn't need to. Yes, Apple cannot rely on constant iPhone sales as it's not going to last forever but I think Apple knows this and is expanding their portfolio with things like their Services division, and wearables which are very successful for them. Companies would love to have Apple's revenue and profits from those 2 divisions alone. Those 2 divisions make more revenue and profit for Apple in a single quarter than some make as an entire company for an entire year.
