New rumor backs up claim of a rose-colored iPhone 16 Pro
The forthcoming iPhone 16 Pro range will continue to come in titanium, but a rumor says it will include a rose color option.
iPhone 16 Pro could come in a rose titanium color
With only around two months to go until the launch of the iPhone 16 range, there is again a rumor that there will be a rose color rather than the rose gold that Apple has used previously.
Leaker OvO on Weibo claims (in translation) that the new addition to the iPhone 16 Pro colors is rose. "Not the previous Rose Gold on the iPhone 6s."
This fits analyst Ming-Chi Kuo's report from May 2024, which said the same thing. However, Kuo also said that the rose color would be a replacement for the blue of the iPhone 15 Pro.
It's also been previously reported that Apple would be dropping one color in favor of a new one. In that case, the March 2024 rumor specified that the iPhone 16 Pro would come in:
- Space Black
- White
- Gray
- Rose
That rumor also repeats that the rose color differs from the previously used rose gold. However, it said that at first glance, it's very similar.
Like clockwork, Apple reveals the new iPhone lineup in September. The iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro will be announced alongside the Apple Watch Series 10 with Apple Intelligence front and center for upcoming features.
