    Go Belgian all the way

Beer that is, Try Hoegaarden White as it is one of the worlds best!

    Hoegaarden

If you really want to go nuts try Chimay Grand Reserve!

    Chimay

It is a bit stronger than just "beer" LOL

Another that is like Hoegaarden is Celis White

It started out in Texas (well Belgium first) then got bought out and dumped!!! It was so sad to see it go! Now Michigan Brewing Company has revived it! It is one of the worlds best and thankfully now sold in my area once again just exactly the same as it always was!!!

    Celis White

Cool evolving history of Celis,, This stuff is Authentic not mass production crap

If you try these beers you will not care to drink many other beers out there as these are really over the top beers.

    Go easy on them!

Beer can be pretty tasty. I suppose it's an acquired taste, though I also think it's worth it. Just get a few cans or bottles of something regular, and space things out to suit your fancy. The first time I drank beer, I was caught up in the fact that I was drinking it much more so than the drink itself. The second time I tried it, I found it unpleasant. Then, the third time, I didn't mind it. Wait for that moment, and go thence. Still, maybe you'd just rather have mixed drinks or 'premium malt beverages'.

As an inexperienced drinker, I find hard liquor on its own to be disgusting. It just doesn't work on any level, though I thought I could master it. Stoic rumination on the flavours doesn't make it better, nor does trying to empty it as quickly as possible. Nothing's stopping you from trying, though.

I'm reading a fair bit about drunkenness and hangovers. It's likely just my personality, but I prefer a light buzz to outright drunkenness. I would personally feel better having known that I handled an experience well, rather than just survived it. I've done both, so I know for sure.

Anyway, have fun, and hopefully you'll find something enjoyable.
