As a long time Apple shareholder, I’m grateful for all Apple under Steve and Tim have accomplished. But it’s clear meaningful innovation has plateaued. Cook should have teamed with Musk early on for an Apple Car (Tesla builds the platform and Apple builds the interior and electronics systems). Tesla will perfect Full Self Driving in 2-4 years. Apple will be on the outside looking in at a market where CarPlay is not needed. (And I love CarPlay). Instead of innovation all we get is a bump in Apple subscription prices. BTW Musk is threatening to make a truly private smart phone perhaps with built in Starlink. Cook better take the call from Musk next time.
