Apple is rumored to be introducing a new model of iPhone SE sometimein 2025, with it introducing a number of changes to the form factor. Photographs released late on Sunday provide a hint at what to expect from the update.

Procured from sources in Alibaba, the 3D-printed mockup received by Macotakara offers the familiar appearance of the iPhone 14. In rumors, it is said that Apple will be borrowing design elements from that iPhone generation, a technique it commonly uses for the iPhone SE.

As well as looking like the iPhone SE from the front, the mockup includes the TrueDepth notch. Going with the rumors, the model is made with a fake 6.1-inch display.

In terms of size, it is 146.7mm by 71.3mm (5.78 inches by 2.8 inches), and 7.8mm thick. There is a 2mm bezel around the edge of the display.

The base is made with an asymmetric collection of holes, with three on one side and five on the other. In the middle is a USB-C port.

Around the back is a single camera sensor, without a bump. The overall size meant that the mockup could fit into iPhone 14 cases easily, but with a large empty space for the smaller camera due to the lack of bump.

The volume buttons are the same size and shape as the iPhone 14 on the mockup, though the mute toggle is smaller and slightly higher.

While the mockup provides a promising preview for the iPhone SE 4, there's no guarantee that the actual released hardware will match what's shown in the images.
